Backpacking trips deserve a special summary page for two reasons: the summary and photos can be helpful to others, and I enjoy looking back on past trips.
Some trips have a detailed summary and route, particularly earlier trips. Others only have photos. Trips that are earlier than 2008 or do not have photos are not listed.
I bring a camera on most trips. Depending on the gear it can weigh anywhere from 10 oz (e.g. Sony RX100 III) to 5 lbs (e.g. Canon 6D with two lenses and tripod).
